What happened in the last few months

It’s about half past midnight.
I am in the office, alone.
It is quiet and I like it that way.
I have Ben Neill playing in my headphones. I love his mutant trumpet sound, check it out here.
A lot of things happened since I wrote a blog post last time:
- we moved out of Eugene’s apartment that hosted our small team for several months
- moved into Ryerson DMZ and setup our 500px HQ here
- lost a partner — Renat moved on to working on his own startup company
- closed our funding round — I am pretty happy, fundraising is exhausting even if your investors are super awesome
- grew the site to over 4 million visitors and 40 million page views monthly
- grew the team from 3 people to 9
- we looking to hire more developers
It has been stressful but rewarding time. Things are still on the verge of order and chaos, but tipping over to the order side. We had great people join us and I and immensely happy about it, I could not wish for a better team. I am truly lucky to work with such talented and hardworking guys and girls (yes, we are a tech company that is actually not all male :)
Целый месяц не следил за 500px. Как приехал, потратил часа два на поиски новых фич и как всегда остался жутко доволен :) Круто, что у вас все идет хорошо. Удачи вам, парни. Потесните Google как-нибудь :)
